Guest guest
Dill For Flatulence Dill is a hardy annual with hollow erect stems, feathery leaves, and a large head of small flowers. Dill doesn't transplant well, so sow the seed in the spring exactly where you want the plants to grow. The shaft, leaves, and seeds are used in remedies. Dill has been used as a remedy for flatulence and the colic that is sometimes associated with it. It has been said to stimulate the flow of milk in nursing mothers, and chewing the seeds will clear up bad breath. Pour a cup of boiling water over one or two teaspoons of gently crushed dill seeds and let this infuse for 10-15 minutes. Drink a cup of this before meals to control flatulence.
