Thank you Carolyn! Will check into this further.

Is it helping with the fibroids?

I met a woman once who developed them after

being put on hormone therapy--and of course, a hysterectomy was suggested; she was not receptive

to that idea, quit the hormone therapy and the fibroids

went away within a year. Something to look into.

I wrote you all a few months ago regarding my implants and how I was

concerned about their effects. You all were very helpful. I did not

forget your kindness.

Recently, I found out I had fibroids that need to be removed. RAther

than surgery, I have been looking into alternative ways to treat them

(they are very large and very painful during menstrual periods).

After long searches, I was advised to take a juice called Noni. This

is a very interesting fruit from the Polynesian islands, been used

for thousands of years to treat many illnesses. Apparently, it is

incredible. It treats fibromyalgia, amoung many other disorders. It

also washes away all impurities in the body. When I read this, I

thought of you all, considering what you are going through, or went

through. Maybe you have heard of this already, but just wanted to

let you know of this. It looks very promising. Been told many good

things so far from my health/ holistic buddies. Let me know if you

have any info. Here is one of many links that tells about it.

I started taking Noni again a week ago . . . I noticed improvement in my neuropathy the next day . .. first improvement in weeks. . . . I took it some time ago for the same thing . . . after three weeks, the thing I noticed when standing was that my feet didn't hurt! When I quit using it the pain came back . . . Nature's Sunshine reformulated their Morinda Noni . . . It had been 100% Noni . . .and I don't think it's as effective now .

But I had some left, so I'm trying it again. . .. If the pain is gone after three weeks it will be a miracle! . . .my feet have been feeling as though I'm walking on hot pavement . . . and my tail bone burning like it was rubbed with hot peppers! . . I'm at the point where I'm ready to do anything that will relieve it!

Thanks,

I have taken noni on and off over the last 2 years and it is good stuff,

tastes nasty though. Some of the brands that are out there try to make it

taste better by adding fruit juice but I think it is better pure.

I have posted about Noni juice before, while some of the claims they make are a bit outrages, I do believe it is good for you, I don't believe it is a miracle cure though I just think it is a great supplement to support the immune system and I have heard it can kill virus and other things. I would say it is worth trying but it won't cure your illness by itself, in fact till you get the implants out, there is little that will totally make you better, in my own opinion. That is also from my own experience.

Hi Ladies,

I tried this 'remedy' faithfully for about 6-months about 5-years ago. All I can say is that it surely did not hurt anything, however, it had no positive effect either. A couple of my other close friends also gave it a lenghthy trial, with the same results as I had. Therefore, my personal recommendation would be to 'save your money'!

  • 3 weeks later...

--- I am not on Hormone Therapy. I have researched the fibroids, and

they are caused by estrogen. and possibly progesterone, but that is

still being studied. I am scheduled to have surgery to get them

removed in three weeks.

After this, I plan on getting my implants out! I dont care what I

look like after, as long as they are out and I have my body back the

way it was supposed to be.

As for the Noni, according to Dr. Weill, it is not worth the money.

Maybe it is to some, but I am sorry if I gave you bad information.
