Guest guest
I had also thought that at one time about the textureds but I know of a few women that are sick that only had smooth, I think that it just realy depends on so many factors such as the state of the immune system and if there is an infection or not. It is still so confusing to know for sure, and the fact that no one is studying it makes it all the more confusing to us. Guest guest
Massage after surgeries can help decrease scar size (amt of scarring) and helps restore sensation in the operated area. I have to admit, though, that Dr. Huang never said anything about massaging my incisions after explant. So, I'm not sure if it is or would be contraindicated. Perhaps Dr. Kolb can answer that. I have been told, though, after my heart surgery, knee surgery, and both neck surgeries to massage the scars as it stimulates circulation therefore restoring feeling/sensation back to that area, and increasing circulation to aid in healing of the scar. e ----- Original Message ----- From: Heer Sent: Saturday, June 29, 2002 9:16 PM Subject: Re: Re: Anyone hear of staph in capsule? Mederma is great, and no I have never ever heard of massage after explant, I don't see why that would be of any benefit sit massage is usually to help from getting cc with implants. I would think it better to leave them alone and let them heal with out fussing with them too much at all. get the mederma it is fantastic, hugs ----- Original Message ----- From: Laynie1434@... Keli, Do you know of, or have you heard of , anything to use on incisions after explant, to minimize the scaring? Also, is it a good idea to massage the breast tissue as well, and if by doing that, will it help in the healing and fluffing? Layne
Guest guest
Scar massage is effective in reducing scar formation especially if the scars are indenting. . -----Original Message-----From: e Rene [mailto:e_Rene@...]Sent: Sunday, June 30, 2002 1:00 AM Subject: Re: Re: Anyone hear of staph in capsule?
