Guest guest
Dr. Kolb, I found out that in the culture of my tissue capsule, they found a positive Culture. It says - No Anaerobes isolated Organisms 1 Staphylococcus species rare growth There were no other comments about anything being positive as of now. I can see the Gram Stain said no organisms and no WBC's seen. They did a sensitivity test and one antibiotic recommended was Penicillin. My PS gave me and RX but wasn't altogether sure that this was a problem or not as Staph can be found in different places. Have you ever found this in before with implants? Is it common? Are there ways to deal with it, or is it maybe just not a big problem and I'm dealing more with the silicone flaking off. I'm taking Inositol for that now. I'm still achy and flulike, but I read it will take a little while to get back to normal. Thanks for any info you have, Darlene
