Another group I am a member of gets things like this sometimes also. I

don't know if it is the moderators fault. I just put some things in my spam

controls, so any further emails from devkamadara will go in my spam

folder.

There is a web-based worm going through email addresses. The reason that

I know is the same thing happened to my email address a couple of weeks ago. My

email got hacked and someone started sending out all kinds of crazy links to

people and that were in my address book. I was kicked out of one

of the other I was a member of because the moderator thought I was

purposefully breaking the group policy by what the group was receiving by who

the moderator THOUGHT was me. I called and they said the problem is on

their end and the only thing a person can do that is affected by this thing is

to change their password.

I don't plan to leave the group because I do learn some things that I

otherwise wouldn't know about. When I heard about Dr Hulda , then I was

happy to find the group and learn more. I do like this group a lot. I

have one of her books, but it is often more fun to read things on this web

site.

I will do just like I said and adjust my spam folder settings, so I don't

have to see anything that is really spam. I picked out some key words

from the email and also blocked the web site address of the spammer. I listed

the web site address like a key word in my spam folder, so any email with

that in it will go in the spam folder. I also put the phrase " Naughty

Woman " in my spam settings.

I think it may be a problem and not a group problem because a

smaller group I am in gets similar spam emails now and then.

I have a friend whose email account was hijacked and she can't get into

it anymore and had to tell people to ignore emails from her old account and

not send money or respond to other emails. It is sad, but it happens all

over the place now and then. If you ever use a public computer such as at

a library, then be sure to sign out of your account because otherwise the

next person to use that computer can see your account when they go to the

web site. This applies to most email web sites like and AOL and

Gmail. Restarting the computer doesn't necessarily sign you out of your email

account so be sure to pay attention to what you click on and really sign out

so it is less likely that your account can be hijacked.
