Guest guest
Hi, My 13-year old son has been having severe heartburn for many years. Also, many times when he tries to eat, he gets a " lump " feeling in his throat where he cannot eat or drink until it goes away. We have been to many doctors, who simply prescribe him to take more and more Prilosec / Prevacid. I am convinced that he has some inherent gastro (or some other) problem that is actually causing this. Yesterday, we went to yet another doctor and even asked if he would get an X-ray done so we could see if there was a problem. He just said to double the dose of Prilosec. Can anyone please help me to know what we should do??? Thanks in advance, Calvin
