Hi ,

I have a couple questions I hope you can give me some insight on.

I have taken a long hiatus from supplements--probably 6 months--and have been feeling really good. I eat properly, in terms of selection of foods.

Recently I decided to take supplements again, one, to help use up my large supply sitting around here, and two, to make sure I am getting enough nutrients, because I have been really bad about eating regular meals throughout the day. I often forget to eat and I would say that I have probably been deficient in some vitamins/minerals. I have a good selection, but a poor quantity of food.

However, I noticed with the addition of the supplements that my brain fog, or lack of mental clarity, is back again, much to my chagrin.

I also had noticed that while I was doing the Gerson therapy by the book, with all the green juices and vegetables daily, my brain fog was back in full force. I guessed it was a herxheimer reaction. I finally backed off the Gerson therapy, and haven't returned to it yet fully.

Why would the supplements cause brain fog like the Gerson therapy? I can't decide if I should just forget the supplements, or keep taking them to make sure I am getting all the nutrients I should since I don't really care to eat alot of food daily.

I am stumped with this brain fog stuff. I just wish it would go away and leave me alone! Any suggestions about the supplements?

Thanks,

Patty
