Guest guest
Has anyone ever had this happen during a well woman exam? The last exam I had my doctor said to me, all the time nodding yes to his nurse assistant, he didn't see a reason to do the breast exam part of the exam because he felt I had had my breasts examined enough in the past year. Guest guest
, this sounds a little strange to me; however, when was your last breast exam? Guest guest
Patty, My last well womon exam was in 2000; when it came time for it in 01, that's when I started having these stabbing pains in my breast/back & GB area; According to my reports, looks like I was going thru GB trouble AND rupture (silicone) at the same time. When the GB tests came back " normal " (actually after re-reading them they were NOT normal; just misread). I had a MRI mammo days after the last " normal " GB test & mammo revealed massive rupture. So the doctor thought the rupture was the cause of my pain. Then the GB pain subsided somewhat after explant in May 01. But I still had that pain to the side of my right breast under my underarm area. The nurse last week told me this is an area that some poeple have referred pai from GB; her dauhter had this pain too. Then in Feb I came down with the stabbing pains in GB area & back again just like last year with the rupture. Got te well woman exam in April; and also coplained about thses bouts with thei GB-like pain. Doctor kept saying he didn't think GB bec I had no nausea. But now know you don't ALWAYS have nausea with GB. I plan on writing him & the insurance company a letter about the treatment from this doctor & his staff. No one should have had to suffer this long. He needs to find a new occupation. If you know anyone else I can write to please share. Thanks,
