I hope this works.Has anyone else tried these calcium chews and beenimpressed?I have been taking them and find they are anincredibly easy and cheap source of calcium. Whilethey are not the optimum way to get the calciumbecause they are encased in chocolate and sugar orhigh fructose corn syrup, I find that getting calciumthis way is better than not getting calcium at all.I was diagnosed with osteopenia in May, but haven'tdone anything really proactive since then to rectifyit. I find calcium supplements in pill form give mebrain fog. But with these calcium chews, I can easilyget 1000-1500 mg a day! Piece of cake. There is only one caution I would give you guys whenbuying this product, and that is to read your labels. AVOID the ones that are made with hydrogenated orpartially hydrogenated oils! These include the orangecream ones and the carmel flavor. Also some of thegeneric labels, like at WalMart (Spring Valley label)and Target are to be avoided--they contain the nastyhydrogenated oils. The cheapest ones I found so far were at KMart--it isin a canister that looks just like Viactiv, but theyare just called "Calcium Chews", sitting right next tothe name brand. They were only $4.99 a box, comparedto $6.75 for the Viactiv brand. These also have nopartially hydrogenated oils. Long's Drugs also hasthese "Calcium Chews", same canister, for $5.99.Thanks to J for suggesting these!Patty__________________________________________________
