Guest guest
My 6 yr old neice just got 3 cavities. My sister said, " The dentist said that she is doing a great job brushing and the cavities might have been inevitable because of the way her teeth have deep grooves and are very tight together (all molars) therefore brushing and flossing would not have made a difference. " So two things, is the dentist correct in what he is saying that the cavities might have been inevitable? I don't think so but it doesn't hurt to ask. Also, what can be done for my neice and her three cavities? Is her only option to have the cavities filled? With composite resin? Are there other steps that should be taken? Many thanks, Kerrie
