Guest guest
Thank you Wanda, I read all the messages, just don't feel the need to respond to them all. :-) I managed to get over the Virginia's the other day. It was great to sit down and visit for a while. How is your dad doing? I don't remember the last update on him. Karma Re: Hello everyone!! Excellent post Karma! And wonderful to see you here again! Guest guest
Hi, Lee & welcome aboard -- I'm new to this list myself <:-) Here are a couple of tips I think should prove helpful: A) IMHO, " the lift " is definitely an integral part of EACH LifeLift breath -- Way back when, I originally began with Greer Childers' BodyFlex, so I've long been in the habit of doing the most powerful abs flex I can, but it seems I've read where Rashelle Haines also teaches that even GENTLE lift-flexing still works wonders... However, if you are really looking forward to those inches disappearing from your tape-measure, I would always try to do at least 15-20 minutes at ONE time, or 40 LL breaths (WITH the lift included!) per session, once a day -- Then if you also enjoy doing additional SHORT sessions, especially for health improvement, the more the merrier... Lee, I truly APPLAUD your perseverence in doing the diaphragmic breathing for 6 weeks (especially with no visible results & I agree with the poster who said there have surely been internal benefits already!) but if you're hoping to see some size reduction soon, I think you WILL need to practice The Lift & do at least one LONGER session daily -- But I agree that the LL program should be done in a relaxed & serene way, rather than by harsh huffing & puffing, and I know that participating on this board will be a tremendous aid <:-) Your friend, CC > > Once again, thank you all for your uplifting posts. Guest guest
Wanda you are awesome R Re: Hello everyone!! Hi Lee, You are doing amazing! I'm sure the inside of your body is thanking you for for giving it the life saving oxygen it so longed for. As for seeing results; well for me it works in spurts. It literally took months to see inch/weight loss when I first started Lifelift; due to years of yoyo dieting; medication and no metabolism. I was just as patient as possible and evenually I started seeing a difference. Adding the wonderful body wrap products really helped me see a more immediate difference and that is what still keeps me most motivated. So keep up the grand work and know how happy your body is that you are doing Lifelift. The outside results will come. Just for some of us it is slower; but well worth the wait. Enjoy! Guest guest
Hio Glynis As you know, I have already written to Ann Keen and hope she will have the courtesy to respond to my letter to her. So far, I have not even had an acknowledgement, let alone letting me know whether she is willing to take any action over the points I raised. I think you might well find that if you are not getting the treatment you require, you may be yet another person who needs to go down the road of taking your health into your own hands. Luv - Sheila Hello everyone!! I thought I should perhaps re - introduce myself on the new / old group! Hi I'm Glynis and I have been Hypo for years now, can't remember exactly how many, sorry, am having real problems with my memory of late!! Have had several run - ins with doctors / endo's as I am not the meek and mild sort. In fact I told the last endo I saw that he was a disgrace and should do a bit of reading to get up to speed as his knowledge was at least 10 years out of date!!Needless to say he was not impressed, was I surprised when my results came back 'normal'? Was I heck!!Please don't gforget to write to Ann Keen the parliamentory under secretary for health, the address is on the old forum.... Let me see if I can copy and paste it...........Ann KeenParliamentary Under Secretary for HealthDepartment of Health79 WhitehallLondonSW1A 2NSThat was easy....Glynis No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition.
