Frequency pest control - could it affect humans?

Hi all,

I've been learning about zappers and frequency generators, but still have a lot

to learn.

I was wondering if anyone has used a frequency pest controller? I have

discovered I have a rat problem, and one of the things on sale to repel them is

a device that emits a frequency that they dislike. I'm wondering if this works

on the same principle as a frequency generator, or is it more of a " sound wave "

that is too high/low for humans to hear? Also, do you think it's something that

would adversely affect humans (i.e. me!)?

Learning about how frequencies can be both detrimental AND beneficial to certain

life forms, I'm not sure I'd want to add a frequency to my living space unless I

was sure that it didn't promote the health of any parasites/pathogens/etc. Or

negatively affect my own health, for that matter!
