Guest guest
This was the response about the specific tests in the mentor gel implant study that Nikki was in. No, they don't do all those tests, although, if the surgeon feels it's necessary, you may be referred to another doctor for physical examinations. I did have a blood test, and I think I had a reflex test (can't remember for sure, cause it was almost 2 years ago). They go over your medical history. However, when they go over your medical history, it's not just 20 questions asking different things. They ask about symptoms (for instance, "have you ever experienced numbness or tingling in the hands"), not just about what you've been diagnosed with. They questions are specific, and not "generalized". This is to help make sure that no "symptoms" are overlooked. Also, someone does the history WITH you. They don't leave you in the room with a paper and pencil and let you do it alone. They explained everything to me, in detail, so that I completely understood what the question was. I'm not lying , the stack of papers that had to be filled out was HUGE, lol. Like I said, it took an hour and a half to get thru it all.
