Hi everyone,

I received e's photos in the mail today, and they are up!

Thank you so much for sharing them e. They will go back to you

in tomorrow's mail. Please let me know of any changes you wish me to

make....

To see the photos e has shared, go to the Photos section, and

once you get there you will have to look for the photo album

labeled " e " . It is on the second group of photo albums, so you

have to look for the link to jump forward to the " next 8 " .

e included pics of her with implants, after explant and some

personal photos of herself and her kitty cat Farley who she has

mentioned several times.

Thanks again, e!

Patty

Patty, Thank you SOOOOO much for posting the pics. I sincerely appreciate it. I wish the post explant pics had better color (not a fault of your scanner--just poor quality pics because they are copies from Dr. Huang). You can't really tell how the red bumps cleared up dramatically. But the whole reason for sending the pics was to get more after pics of Dr. Huangs. Again, thank you so much Patty. Don't rush in getting the pics back---whenever you have time. I just appreciate you doing this for me. Thanks again! e ----- Original Message ----- From: faussettdp Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 5:36 PM Subject: New photo album added Hi everyone,I received e's photos in the mail today, and they are up! Patty, Farley is my baby, as you all know! I don't know what I will do without her. She is 12.5 yrs old, and has lived well beyond what the vets said she would. She has a horrible heart condition, and when I had her spayed at 9 months, the vet said that she would never live past 2 yrs. I got Farley when I was in Dallas in nursing school. So, as you can imagine, she and I have been through everything together. Nursing school, a zillion moves, boyfriends, depression, illnesses, surgeries. I joke because Farley has moved so much that I'm convinced she's going to pack her own bags (and mine) when I move back to Denver and she will drive the car back! Anyway, can you tell I'm a proud mama????? And she is a furrball. All hair. She weighs just over 5 pds, and most of it's hair! Anyway, what did you think about my before and after pics? Have you seen any other women with those red bumps? I'd really like feedback on Huang's work. Thanks Patty, and please know that I really do appreciate you doing this for me! e ----- Original Message ----- From: ~*Patty*~ Sent: Thursday, September 05, 2002 9:17 PM Subject: Re: New photo album added You're welcome e. e,

I am actually surprised at your before and after pics. I mean, you can hardly tell that you had implants even when you did--it didn't make you that much larger.

I recognize those red bumps. I had one--and only one--show up right after I got sick and before explant. It was such a strange red bump--I think I called it a fire-ant like lesion on my chest in my testimony. It was a hard red bump, and it went away after explant and I have never had one like it since. All I can think is that it must have been silicone particles pushing through or something of the sort. I later got a red rash on my breasts when I did fasting, (a pic of that is posted on the site as well), but it was totally different than that red bump.

Huang's work looks fine. I can why you are satisfied with her and make recommendations. I had another friend who went to her, traveling from California and she was very pleased as well. Huang did some revisions on her after her first explant was botched and the p/s left half of her scar capsule inside of her. Huang got all remaining tissue and even tweaked her scars for her to fix a problem with her nipple.

Take care,

Patty

WOW e!

Those were some nasty red bumps you had! How far post implant did

they appear and also how long after explant did they completely clear

up? I have to re-read your story to freshen up a bit! Did you have

saline?

Dr. Huang did a good job! You are SO lucky to have that much breast

tissue!!!!!

Love Keli. - oh, and your cat is gorgeous too :o)

e I am glad you shared your pics with us. I must say that your breasts really look about the same after the explant as they did before, I am curious if when you got implants you were smaller or if you always had so much breast tissue (not meant to offend) but if you always had so much why did you get implants in the first place? I know that some women get them to firm things up or fill them out, and I am sure you have probably told us before but I would love to know again, refresh my frazzled memory please.

Anyhow I am sure most of us would probably not have opted to lift either had we had that kind of tissue to work with. I sure as heck would be thrilled to have your boobies, but I guess I am ok with being small now, it used to bother me allot more.

I can see why you are happy with your PS and I also am glad and support your efforts to help others to get to Dr Huang and to use her as an option for explant.

I also want to say that I found it amazing that you had all those red bumps, I never had them quite so bad, but I did have some little ones on my chest when I had implants, I am curious did you say that part of that was the reaction to your fentanyl patch? or was it all the silicone reaction?

Anyhow I am glad you shared them with the group. Might I suggest that you also contact Jeena or Rose on the explantation site and let them know that there are now pics of you that they could add to your story on the explantation.com site I know they would love to put them up and they can just copy them from here since they are members. I urge you to do this so more people can see Dr Huangs work and also see the different looks that women achieve who have not had lifts and who had some breast tissue to work with. I also think that the explantation site gets allot more hits than this one because it is an open forum and the best thing is you don't have to put the ones with your face in them up on the public part but they have a private photo section where allot of us have our faces and pics of family etc. It is a great idea to share our stories and pics with as many people as we can ya know.

Also e you are very beautiful and lovely looking, thanks for sharing and letting us all get a chance to put a face to the name(boobies) ha !

Hugs

C

and Keli (and anyone else), I'm responding to both of your emails to answer both of your questions. , I was VERY small breasted before implants, but only because I was anorexic. I actually thought about sending Patty some pics of me in 1996 just before I got implants to show you all how small I was. I didn't even fill an A cup. I have pics of me in some bathing suits, and I was literally skin and bones. No chest, ribs sticking out, hair falling out. People who know me then and now tell me I looked like someone from a concentration camp. My scapula stuck so far out that it looked abnormal. I weighed 90 pds. Looking back, I was close to death because I had multiple cardiac problems, including a prolonged Qt interval, which can cause life threatening arrhythmias. I have done this 4 times to my body (anorexia) and I'm sure that is also part of the reason my health is so bad now. The mistreatment of my body since I was 15 is finally catching up to me. However, I never used to be small breasted. My father's side of the family is large boned and large breasted. I took after his side of the family. So, I had DD breasts in high school, then up to the age of 19 (1989). I had begged my parents to let me get a reduction because I hated my breasts. Finally, they agreed to let me see a ps in Boulder, CO (where I lived at the time) and he did the reduction. He told me that he had reduced me to a "full B". Well, after the swelling decreased and it was all said and done, I was an A cup. Then to get anorexic on top of it, well, I just lost lots of tissue from my breasts. But maybe the reason I had tissue left over was because I had gained back weight at the time of explant, and maybe genetics just plays a role--I don't know. But you're right, there isn't too much difference in the before and after pics. The only noticeable difference I can see is that the implants filled the upper poles out and I had a fuller breast on the top, whereas now, the weight is at the bottom. I hate the size of my breasts now ©, but I'm losing weight and lots is coming off my breasts. So, maybe one of these days I will be an A cup again without surgery! Dr. Huang and I have discussed reduction, but she has told me to think very seriously before I make that decision. She wants me to be at a good place in my life where I am happy, then make a decision. Keli, the bumps on my chest developed about 1.5 yrs after I had my implants. Initially I thought they were pimples, but then they just continued to "come out." I saw a dermatologist, who didn't know what they were. Of course, at this time, I wasn't linking anything to the implants. He gave me topical meds, pills, everything, and nothing helped. And they were hard and sometimes painful, most of the time they itched, although not terribly. I continue to have a few here and there, but nothing like they used to be. I may get 2-3 a month, and then they go away. Sometimes I go wks without any appearing. And yes, I did have saline implants--McGhan textured.
