Guest guest
Aroma Juicer Recall Aroma Housewares Co. is recalling approximately 117,000 juice extractors because the filter and lid can break apart, projecting metal and plastic into the air. Aroma Housewares previously recalled 40,000 juicers in June of 1999. All model ACJ-250 Aroma Juice Extractors are included in the recall, including ones previously recalled. "ACJ-250" and "MADE IN CHINA" are written on a silver label on the bottom of the juice extractor. The juicer is made of white and clear plastic and has a metal filter. "Aroma" is printed on the front of the unit. These juicers were on the market from March 1996 to July 2002 and usually retailed for $25. If you own one of these juice extractors, stop using it immediately, even if you have already received a replacement juicer as part of the original recall. Then call Aroma Housewares for information on receiving a refund. They can be reached at (800) 276-6286 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday.- M.
