Hello all:

I have been on the 5mg androderm patch for about 4 months now. About

a month ago, I stopped feeling the increased strength, vigor, etc.

that I had been feeling from the time I started the patches. Is this

just because my testicles have shut down and I need a higher dose to

compensate? Also, I am thinking of switch to Androgel because the

patches are not comfortable to wear for 24 hours. They leave welts

like big-arse mosquito bites. How is the skin discomfort with the

androgel? Do you have to alternate where you put the gel every day or

can you apply it to the same location? I am going to see the doctor

at 4:00 today.

Cheers, PetShopBoy

I hated the patches as well. However, I had trouble absorbing the

Androgel at first. I found that if I applied it to my inner thighs

and shoulders I get the best results. I alternate body sides each day.

" petshopboy49015 " ,

I'm on 10 G/dy AndroGel (AG)...A few months ago, Brad pointed out

here, that testosterone has a short half-life and for those of us on

10 G/dy it might be convenient to divide our dose into two

applications....which I do.

I apply to ahaved abdomen and shaved inner thighs. After 29 and 96

dys my T levels were 700+ And I take Arimidex to manage

estrogen/estradiol.

Good luck,

OR eon
