Guest guest
My implants were both manufactured incorrectly, and the valve was faulty per Pierre Blais' report. He also stated that key areas of the implant had weakened to such an extent that complete rupture was inevitable in the near future. e ----- Original Message ----- From: indysurvivor@... I am curious what symptoms these women are experiencing, what medical tests have shown anything, and what treatment was helpful. I also apparenty had a hematoma in the site where the faulty implant was located, and this has exacerbated my symptoms. It apparently allowed for the constant inflow and outflow of fluids, sort of like an abcess I guess. I don't know, the whole thing is so gross, I know. Sorry for the detail, just wondering if anyone is in these particular shoes too. Tx
Guest guest
Lots of us had actual defective implants, I believe that the vast majority of the McGhan style 168 and 468(i think) were defective with this valve problem. The issue is that we have no way of suing them because of the consent we signed. More women need to be aware that they are signing away their rights when they get implants. That sometimes (often times) the benefits do not outweigh the risks, as the consent states in it. Sucks big time doesn't it! ----- Original Message ----- From: e Rene Sent: Sunday, September 08, 2002 8:21 PM Subject: Re: Wondering if anyone had Faulty Valve with their saline impla My implants were both manufactured incorrectly, and the valve was faulty per Pierre Blais' report. Guest guest
I see no reason why you cannot send him your implants from Australia. I would try to find out what you need to do now so that when the time comes you will have things arranged already. I will send you the info on how to contact him, it is on this site.
