Mentor & Other BI Questions

Hi & others with Mentor Questions, etc.

IF you signed an 'Informed Consent Form', it not only should be in your file; you should have been given a copy PRIOR to your implant surgery. Your PS should have also reviewed the entire form with you personally, prior to you signing the form ...prior to your surgery. I think we would all remember that!

I am referring all these Mentor questions to our Mentor Advisor, who knows every possible detail of the Mentor problems for several years. You will either hear from her or from her, through me, as soon as she gets back from summer vacation time with her children, etc.

I think I can assure you that none of you will be happy with the response. If the saline women do not get organized with the intentions of "getting tough & serious" with the remaining manufacturers ... nothing is ever going to help you. Please know that you have many older supporters in the silicone groups. We are not just 'about silicone implants' --- we are about breast implants and breast health for all women!

Bonnie, I had my saline mentor implants placed in 1995. Does that help anything? Thanks for the internet site on lawsuit info. Iam trying to understand this all, and I can't tell if saline were included in the class action lawsuit. I will call my plastic surgeons office, and see what, if anything I signed. I only received copies of my operative report, and I had requested copies of everything in the file. If I signed a consent form or anything else for that matter, shouldn't it have been sent to me?
