Guest guest
Now you guys have me going with the left index finger. Mine has been hurting for a long time and sometimes my whole finger aches. I can't believe it's in the same finger even. This is going on for months. However I have soooo many health issues, I've even been embarrassed to bring this up with my doc. Now I think I will. I hardly feel a bump but it's a very specific area that hurts and is not going away. I didn't hurt it either... Thanks for sharing the article. Last week her manicurist discovered a bump on her left index finger and after tests Jordan was found to have a rare type of cancer. This time tissue around the tumour was removed, but if it returns, Jordan may have her hand amputated. On hearing the news she managed to joke to her doctor: "At least let me get married and wear a ring on my finger before you do that". - DPA ----- Original Message ----- From: Heer Sent: Sunday, September 01, 2002 12:11 PM Subject: Model Jordan Ha anyone heard anything about this, I was trying to find this on the net but came up empty, anyhow I got this off explantation.com British topless PlayBoy model Jordan, who has undergone several augmentations to enlarge her breasts time after time (the last procedure resulted in F-cup proportions), gave birth three months ago to a baby who has been diagnosed as having a birth defect and suffering from blindness. She herself has been told she has a rare and aggresive form of cancer (LMS) and may be undergoing chemotherapy and treatment. While her implants may be in no way related to these serious health problems, if it were me in her situation, I'd get those implants out pronto! Guest guest
Hi Patty, I've had silicone for 11 years now. I can't tell you the health issues I have had and it just donned on me lately that maybe I should consider the implants being a culprit. I need to explant them and I will do that very soon. I'm dealing with a lot of health issues that will also require another surgery and I've had so many surgeries that I'm not looking forward to extras. Also, I'm sort of just trying to deal with the psychological aspect of removing them because I hadn't thought about it before but now I must. I rather be alive than have the perfect breasts!!! Guest guest
Hi Leanda, I am glad you found us then, and are making the connection to your implants. I am so sorry that you are still dealing with them, (I am every time I hear another woman's story!). I really do hope that you can get on a path to recovery and overcome some of your health concerns once you get explanted. Yes, it is a very daunting task to undertake, not to mention the emotional and mental impact it has on us, but I can tell you it will be the best thing you can do for yourself! You will feel free at last once those implants are gone and you can focus on getting your body back to better health. It will take some time, so just take it one step at at time, and learn all you can about healing. Do you have the means to pursue the explant and have you picked out your doctor? Remember that doing a proper explant is so important--you have to get all the implant, all the scar tissue, all the free floating silicone if there is any, and many doctors don't give this the proper consideration. They just get in there and yank out the implants and call it done. So be sure to discuss with your doctor what you expect from your surgery, and settle for nothing less than total and complete removal of the implants and surrounding scar tissue, (called a Total capsulectomy). Please keep us updated! We care! Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: leanda Sent: Tuesday, September 03, 2002 6:40 AM Subject: Re: Model Jordan Hi Patty, I've had silicone for 11 years now.
