Guest guest
I totally agree with Patty, I had mine for almost 8 years, and symptoms and auto immune diseases didn't start until about two years ago. (the big ones anyway) Then Bam , it all hit at one time!!! Just cause you have had them for a long time, doesn't mean you are in the clear. Guest guest
I didn't realize that this message was not posted to the group.I read it and I thought it was to the group, oops! Patty I am with you on this one, it is easy to find someone with implants who is ok after 10 years and to make the assumption that they are safe because someone says they have had them for so long and they are fine. The fact is that this does not mean that many women don't have problems before and after 10 years. We are all so individual that it really would be a mistake to think that ! ----- Original Message ----- From: " ~*Patty*~ " <fdp@...> < > Sent: Monday, September 23, 2002 1:32 PM Subject: Fw: My Best Friend > I think this was meant for the group, so I am forwarding it. > > However, I do want to state that just because someone has had implants for > 10 years doesn't mean that they can't have problems further down the road. > We already have women on the group who have had implants for many years, > only to become extremely ill with all of the disease symptoms we have been > discussing.
