They all have similar stories of how they were searching for small improvements but wound up, in their words, disfigured with huge breasts they never asked for. In the day since the story aired, at least a dozen women called or e-mailed 28 Investigates to share their experiences with Dr. Randall Harrell (right). In almost every case, the women claim they went to Dr. Harrell's Fountain of Youth clinic for a breast lift, and came out with massive implants. "Every time I went in, I said 'I do not want to be bigger.' Every time I walked in the door," said former patient Lynn Browne. "I was okay with my size. What I said is I just wanted a lift." Lynn, like almost all of the patients 28 Investigates spoke with, claims Dr. Harrell convinced her to buy both the lift surgery and breast implants. "He said, because of all of the sag I had, I needed to have a small implant," she continued. "I did not want to be bigger." Lynn says she showed Dr. Harrell photos of what she did not want to look like. "He said, for sure, I would be very happy is what he told me, very happy," she added. Lynn realized something had gone terribly wrong the moment she woke up from surgery. "I trusted him to make me look pretty again, and he didn't do it. And now I have to walk around like this," Lynn said through tears. Instead of the full C-cup she asked for, Lynn's breasts were blown up to DD's. She insists Dr. Harrell is now ignoring her complaints. "I slowly worked my way into saying how unhappy I was and how they were very large, and he proceeded to tell me I look wonderful, I look like a Playboy model," Lynn recalled. Another woman, who asked that 28 Investigates protect her privacy, worked for Dr. Harrell as a nurse. Before she was fired, she claims, several women returned after surgery upset about their overly large implants. "There's one time, I remember a patient asking for one thing and the implant was an enormous size," she told 28 Investigates. "They were upset and crying and I would ask what's wrong, and they would go 'she's not happy with the size.'" Patient Kim Denny (right) claims Dr. Harrell butchered one of her breasts after she went to him to correct another surgeon's work. "This has been a nightmare," Kim exclaimed. "If I bend over, it looks like a balloon sitting on top of the muscle. I look like a freak." One of Kim's areolas is no longer round, and there is a small hole near her nipple. The abnormalities have put her out of work as a topless dancer. "I don't work in topless clubs anymore. I work in bikini bars where I have to stay covered up," she explained. "It's definitely affecting my income quite a bit." Kim claims she, too, is now a DD after ordering a size-C implant. "I said they are bigger than I wanted them to be. He said 'give them a couple of months, they will go down.' They never went down." Kim and others have had a hard time finding legal representation. Medical malpractice attorney Kelley explains these types of cases are difficult and expensive to prosecute. "The damages -- in other words, the lost wages, the medical expenses -- are not high enough to justify the type of expense that it takes to bring this type of case," Kelley stated. 28 Investigates has left several messages with Dr. Harrell seeking a response to these complaints. As of Friday evening, he had not returned any calls.
