Guest guest
Forgot about that--absolutely true. I remember back in 1992 when the silicone information broke loose, a local plastic surgeon was interviewed and said he and his patients needn't worry as he always used saline. . . I knew this was BS because I had consulted with him. . . other's found out upon removal that it was BS also. Bonnie
Guest guest
PS Daryl regardless of what implant type you have Dr Feng is experienced at removing all of them! Check out her site and give them a call. ----- Original Message ----- From: ~*Patty*~ Sent: Monday, October 07, 2002 9:19 AM Subject: To Daryl Daryl, There is one more thing you need to consider when getting your breast implants out. Do you KNOW absolutely for SURE they are saline? I have heard several times where women thought they had gotten saline, particularly those women who got them when silicone gel were still in their prime, found out upon removal that their so called "saline" implants were actually silicone gel. In this case, if there is any chance of rupture or leakage you would want to make sure you are going to a doctor who is going to absolutely do their best to remove the implants and all surrounding tissue. I don't mean to scare you or make you worry unneccessarily, but I do want you to be aware of the possible scenarios, especially if you are not absolutely certain (meaning you still have the paperwork) of what kind of implants are inside of you. Guest guest
I forgot to mention that I too had the brain fog and that began to improve with the diet and literally the day I had my explant, when I came out of surgery I had a clarity in my head that I had not had in years. No headache either. I didn' t have my surgery performed under general anesthesia but instead had a MAC (monitored anestesia care). I was sedated and Dr. Kolb used local anesthetic around the nipple areolar complex only. My surgery lasted 5 hours and I had no post-op nausea or pain meds. Dr Knos, the anesthesiologist was willing to try it this way because I was fearful of general anesthesia because my mother had complications from it before. Also, I DO NOT COOK. If I ever win the lottery the first thing I will do is hire a chef! So if I could do this diet anyone can. Crystal I
