Guest guest
: You have a point in saying never say never, but I'm just quoting my doc. He said one mastopexy in five years was an anchor b/c that's what the patient wanted (plus he's done revisional ones). I was not trying to piss you off--really. I just don't want women to go to the docs who do this anchor as a standard thing--like Gunta and Patty's doc. It will make my suffering/experience all for not. -Marie
Guest guest
I agree with this statement that anchor pattern is rarely the best choice. I don't tend to get pissed off easily so don't worry about that. . -----Original Message-----From: perlesetlacet@... Guest guest
I agree with -Marie, I just don't want to tell women that they should just take a PS's word for it if that PS says they need an anchor lift, I don't want to see anyone butchered if they don't need to be. I guess that was the point I was trying to make to you . You are right in saying never say never, I agree with you. I do like your information, I like you personally as you are great to help this group by answering our concerns, I just would rather error on the side of caution when it comes to lifts, and tell women that they should consider the fact that most of us don't need to have the extra scars if they can avoid it. Despite a few different opinions that have been voiced I still have yet to see anyone with an anchor lift that has been done by Feng or any of the good PS's, that is not to say they don't do them, but again Dr Feng did tell me that they are not necessary. I believe that to be truth, and you yourself also agreed that you have only done what 2 in 10 years? I am not even sure why we are debating this issue anymore, since it is obvious that anchor lifts are not the first choice in most cases. Take care ----- Original Message ----- From: perlesetlacet@...
