enbloc vs. implant removal first

Hi Everyone,

I have to clarify the enbloc procedure, as I will be consulting with a very

nice Dr. (nice goes a long way).

I was sure he said that he takes the implant out first and then takes the

capsule out. That is different than cutting it out in one piece (enbloc).

If that is the way he is going to do it, then what do you all think?

What should I be asking if this is in fact his procedure?

Can they safely remove it all like that? In two steps?

I am trying to figure it. I have extracapsular rupture so the capsule is

already broken somewhat.
