Dear Ilena, I found your article on Dr. Mercola'a web site. I live in Santa , Ca. I have silicone breast implants. I had then removed two years ago after breast pain that my plastic surgeon thought may be a rupture. There was no rupture, I believe it to have been hormone related, although this was never addressed before surgery. They replaced them with Mentor textured silicone implants. I have been on and off antibiotics for the last two years. I seem to have a bacterial infection that comes and goes. My breast are soft and pain free when on the antibiotics, yet shortly after stopping them I develop problems? I have been researching having them removed with no replacement. My plastic surgeon doesn't believe there is any relationship to the implants as the problem, although she does agree that my breasts get inflamed, there is an inflammatory reaction? I would appreciate your help and advise. Tomorrow I go in for a Mamm ogram as my breasts have been painful, cyst like? Thank you for your time and help. Sincerely,
