Guest guest
Calcium deposits occur around the older silicone implants not the saline to my knowledge. Chelated calcium with Vitamin D is a good supplement and you should continue it if you already have it. . -----Original Message----- From: yssg888 [mailto:yssg888@...] Sent: Sunday, October 13, 2002 4:06 AM Subject: Calcification--To Am going to ask a stupid question. About calcium supplement, has that anything to do with calcification - calcium deposits within breast tissue seen in mammogram? My good pal even got calcium on her capsule (seen during redo). Yet another unexpected bonus resulting from implants. Doctor told her remove capsule, that calcification can build up to cut into good tissue. Sorry for yet another bugging question on insides. Internal me overriding the external me again (the more I read, the more my insides matter more than my outsides). Am certainly not suitable implant candidate. > Glad to hear you take vacations, your schedule sounds grueling, that is good that you get away I think we all need it for sure! > I want to ask you a question about vitamins, particularly calcium. I am always told that the citrate is the most absorbed, but my husband has tons of this chelated calcium with vitamin D in it that he used to sell at his health food store before they closed down, we have allot of it. I am wondering if this is as good or better than the citrate? what are your opinions? I am really very religious about taking my Calcium as my bones were tested in a DEXA scan a year ago and found to have osteopenia. I do allot more weight bearing exercise now, and between that and the calcium I am hoping to get it to come up, if possible, without taking any medications. I won't know of course till my next dexa in another year. Anyhow I am curious of your opinions on the best most absorbable calcium, is it the citrate of this chelated one that I have? > > Thanks for your help, you sound like you work very hard, it must be nice to take a break, but if you are anything like me it is always good to be busy and helping people to. > > Take care > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Dr. Kolb > @y... > Sent: Saturday, October 12, 2002 6:12 PM > Subject: RE: anchors vs. vertical lifts--To > > > I fast for 5 to 7 days while working. The fastest way to get rid of pain is to fast. My diet is hospital food often once a day. I am extremely busy working an average of 17 to 20 hours a day. I usually operate 4 to 10 hours a day which is physically taxing. I work 7 days a week as I take call on the weekends often at 3 to 5 hospitals. Last weekend we had 17 emergencies so I am very tired. I have a radio show tomorrow morning and I still have to read the book. Smooth implants do make a capsule but probably not when placed back into a preexisting capsule. . > -----Original Message----- > From: Heer [mailto:idagirl@c...] > Sent: Friday, October 11, 2002 9:40 AM > @y... > Subject: Re: anchors vs. vertical lifts-- To > > > So you are saying that you still get flares? If you go off your protocol? how closely do you follow your protocol? For instance do you take all the supplements and all the things listed? To me it seems like a HUGE amount of things to take consistently on a daily basis forever, simply to keep a set of implants that in reality are not going to be lasting forever! Do you for example, not ever eat cake, ice cream? Candy? Any treats at all? I am very interested in this as I find that a life full of nothing but raw food and health stuff is dull and boring, it isn't worth it to me, personally, to never have a birthday cake or a candy bar. I mean I obviously don't pig out but I do like an occasional treat, pizza, nice dinner, whatever. Also are the implants that important to you to have to be on a protocol the rest of your life? > > Last I have to ask how old are your implants now? Will you be replacing them when they get to a certain age or are you just playing the " wait and see " that most implanted women do. Last thing, are you saying that smooth implants don't make any capsule?
