Dear Patty:

Hi. I'm currently taking Maxi-Hair, I bought them at Vitamin Shoppe. No, I'm not in a wig as I "pass" for a normal head of hair I just lost density to what was once a thick head of hair.

Have you been evaluated by a doctor trained in hair loss? I have--a couple of them. This can be helpful. I would get a complete hormonal work up done and get your ferritin tested too. know a good endo in sdale if you're interested. He knows about hair loss.

Take care,

LM

Thanks Marie,

I checked those hair vitamins out and it seems like they are much like a multi-vitamin, with perhaps added minerals and MSM. I might give those a try. No, I haven't seen any docs. It took me great willpower to even go see the endocrinologist, and if I hadn't gone in for the Vit C IV with Dr. Royal in the first place, I wouldn't even have known I had Hashimoto's. I am not one for wasting time with docs, so it would have to be a really good recommendation before I would entertain the idea. How did you find the one in sdale?

Patty

I wonder what it is that keeps some of us from suffering from the hair loss problems? That is very interesting indeed. I wonder if Dr Kolb had hair loss and how she cured it? Well, I thank god everyday for my hair, I do have a ton of it, grows kind of slow though once it gets to the length it is now, kind of lower back length. I love long hair!

Ahh
