I have been reading the posts in response to my hair loss and my

experience with Cipro. I was especially interested in Patty's

question and thank you for asking the question, Patty! I didn't

realize we had a Dr. in the group! Thank you Dr. Kolb for posting!

To Dr. Kolb:

I have McGhan smooth round saline implants and this experience I had

with the Cipro and how my hair loss slowed so significantly - What do

you think? What should I think? (Haha) My theory is that I could have

a collection of bacteria around my implants and my body's way of

showing a red flag is by losing my healthly hair.

Do you think I should be on low level of Cipro for a lengthy amount

of time or perhaps a regular, higher level of Cipro for longer than

the 10 days I had with the bladder infection? Do you think this could

cure the bacteria and cure my hair loss or at least stop it for

awhile until I can figure out some way to afford explantation. Please

expand your thoughts and opinions on this. It would mean SO much!

Respectfully,

na Dean
