I know that TMJ can be a symptom with LD, poor Helen on our list has

been through hell and back with TMJ pain. Not sure if any treatment other

than LD abx will help you. If you care to write Helen about this, her

address is:Liveitup2@...

Good luck,

Hugs,

Thanks Marta. I have an appt. w/Rheum. dr on the 14th of March, but I am

really anxious about it because (like so many of you have experienced) I am

afraid of getting one more dr who doesn't know their head from a whole in the

ground. I am really going to try and be organized and go in with all the

needed ammunition I need to help me get back on abx. I would really like to

try the Zith/flagyl combo. I am just so tired of having to tell my story

everytime I go to a dr.....sorry getting in a funk and needing a good

cry...then I will feel better : )

I will drop Helen a line. Thank you for your help.

Hear! Hear! Discussion, in my opinion, requires more than just one view

point.

I have to chime in here with agreement. Holly was always " weepy " at that

stage of the game. I can just about count the days to her period. Doesn't

have diabetes ? My 16 year old with diabetes can really do the roller

coaster game with the hormones, and I think the blood sugars really play into

it..sometimes I call it " super " PMS, lol. I don't have any good advise,

lol...except to watch the calendar and be prepared.

M.

Mom to 16, IDDM, Holly, 14 DS and ...extremely typical.

Why is the teacher saying, " putting hormones, puberty and anything else

aside " ? Where is in regards to sexual maturation? Hormones can have an

interesting affect on a child. Sheila has had her share of hormonal

imbalances the past few years--she sees a pedi endocrinologist, but recently

she has had her first period and that has thrown her hormones of again, plus

it happens a week before her period. As yet they haven't stabilized so it's

anybody's guess when she is going to burst into tears. >>

Maybe you've been "removed" like Dr. Kolb has. LOL. Just kidding.

E-mail at idagirl@... and find out, evidently, you're experiencing technical difficulty.

Take care,

LM

I GIVE MY SON CARN AWARE (WE ARE WORKING UP TO 1200MG DOSAGE) AND BEFORE HE

GOES TO SLEEP I GIVE HIM 125 MG OF MAG AND 50 MG OF b6.

I will try the Gaba in that mixture in a while.

We don't have great seizure control but we do have pretty good control.
