Guest guest
Dear PJ: I'm so sorry to hear this. What a bunch of assholes at your insurance company! My heart goes out to you. Unfortunately I know little about insurance stuff, but Martha's the expert so she can help you. Take care. LM
Guest guest
Spinal stenosis is pretty common as we age, however I do believe it could also be implant related, have you had a bone scan? I ask you this because inadvertently I discovered I have osteopenia and that may be part of why I get back pain(thinning of the bones) it could be part of your problem as well. I know e also has this issue with her back and has had to have surgery too. I also have had back pain, low back, I found out I have a few bulging discs however, they were not touching the nerves so at this time nothing was recomended I also do not want to have any back surgery. I know too many people who have not had good outcomes with this. Hopefully e will have more to say. I am sooo sorry about your insurance, I don't know how some people get things covered so easily and how others have to suffer, it makes no sense to me whatever! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
PJ, Back pain can be caused by any number of reasons, including implants that may be too big or a causing added strain on your back. I have multiple neck and back problems, and my docs and I are relating my problems directly to implants. Whether it's definitely related or not, we don't know, nor, I suspect, will we ever. The damage has been done, and I never had these back/neck problems prior to implants. If I were you, I'd appeal your insurance company's decision to remove only one implant. I think you have a very logical reason to appeal their decision, and could easily fight that. Don't take what they say as final, because it's far from final!! e ----- Original Message ----- From: Heer Sent: Friday, November 15, 2002 8:01 AM Subject: Re: EXPLANT CANCELLED!!!
