Guest guest
http://sfdct.com/home.cfm Administrator's Corner Last Updated: 11/06/2002 @ 9:47 AM Greetings Counsel & Claimants: We have had rain in Houston for weeks so the sunny day today has cheered the staff here at SF-DCT. We have been busy over the past few weeks. We have completed all Claim Form translations and drafted a Newsletter to include in the Claim Form package. We are poised to print and begin the process of inserting the claim form packages in the pre-printed label packages. We are waiting for Judge Hood to give permission to proceed. We continue to work on our computer system and update your records. Remember it is your job to keep us informed of any changes in address or attorney information. Foreign Operations Update: I visited our Foreign Office in Amsterdam and met with representative counsel, our Foreign Medical Director and representatives from our Foreign Office. The purposes of the meetings were to plan for claim form mailing date activities and ensure our processes were in place to manage claims between the two offices. We are planning to be available to support groups in Europe and Scandinavia once a claim form mailing date has been set by Judge Hood. We will give dates to you and if you want representatives of the SF-DCT to visit your group we will try (where not cost prohibitive) to make arrangements to be available. We will also organize a series of telephone call-in sessions for claimants and counsel. Our South & Central American claimants will also have these opportunities and we have already contacted counsel with a number of claimants regarding this endeavor. Domestic Operations Update: We will be offering the same opportunities to our Domestic claimants to call-in to a pre-arranged call to respond to queries. We have been working to identify support groups and once we have a date from the Court we will be arranging a series of meetings so we can answer your questions. We will keep you informed and hope that you will remain patient as we move forward. There will be lots of work to do once we send your claim form packages so we urge you to read all the information and carefully complete all forms. We remainhere to ensure fair, efficient handling of your claims, E. W. T-H.
