Guest guest
Hi Kendra, I was having problems getting into the chat room, like someone else mentioned. The room never fully loaded. I'm thinking it was affected by my stinky connectivity last night. Wish I had a T-1 at home, like I do at work Sorry I missed you guys, but I'll try again next week (or drop in another night this week like Amy suggested). Take care, e > e: > We saw you come in, but you're not there! > Kendra in Canada > For more plagio info, go to > www.plagiocephaly.org/support
Guest guest
Got it that time! Thanks. What a great article! I consider myself lucky to have advocates like you and your husband who educate the public on behalf of the parents of children with plagiocephaly! You go girl. Every paper in every city should run a similar story. Hmmmmm, how can we make that happen? Guest guest
What is your opinion on this mycoplasm and this infection stuff, since your a nurse I thought I would get your opinion and cause I know your level headed and am curious what you think about this stuff. I used to really believe in it all, but after awhile it started to seem like maybe it was not really helpful to take all these antibiotics and really mess yourself up. I am just on the edge of this issue, with the feet being the only thing wrong with me I don't think many Dr would give me a script for anykind of antibiotics at this point for foot pain. Also I know you have it too so I am curious what do you think is the cause of this crap? Thanks e C
Guest guest
, I'm not sure what to tell you. I have the foot pain severe, especially now. It's really flared up in the last wk or so, and I'm not sure why. The other AM I woke up with the pain so severe, I couldn't even move my feet. They felt like they needed to be stretched, but when I did, it hurt even more. It's such a hard pain to describe. As for the mycoplasma stuff, have you been tested? There's no way of knowing if you have it unless you get tested. With all the talk on here last yr about mycoplasma, I was convinced I had it, got tested for it, and it came back negative. To take antibiotics for something you don't have is not good. It's only aiding in the bacterial drug resistance war. If you took antibiotics and you don't have mycoplasma, your body could possibly develop a resistance to the medication, then when you really needed that medication down the road, it won't work for you. That's the last thing you want to create. So, I'd be tested for it if you want, but definately don't be taking any antibiotics just for the hell of it. One of these days, we won't have any antibiotics to treat us anymore because the bacteria have all outsmarted us. Then what will we all do? I'm a firm believer that you only take antibiotics if it's clear there's an infection. Take that for what it's worth. I thought you had an orthotic made for your foot? Isn't that helping? I'm just honestly not sure if we can contribute the foot pain to implants. Although I was doing some thinking last night on the subject and I never had foot pain until about 2 yrs ago, which of course was when had my implants and was at my sickest. So, I guess it's anyone's guess. I'm sure we'll never know. Until then, I'd keep asking your hubby for foot massages, because that seems to help my foot pain some. Try icing and taping. And if you want, and your insr will cover the mycoplasma test, see if your doc will order it. But like I said, I had lots of symptoms that were consistent with mycoplasma. And yet I tested negative for mycoplasma, so I don't think that's what's causing my foot pain. Anyway, take all this for what it's worth. Hope you get something from it..... e ----- Original Message ----- From: Heer Sent: Wednesday, November 06, 2002 8:34 AM Subject: e What is your opinion on this mycoplasm and this infection stuff, since your a nurse I thought I would get your opinion and cause I know your level headed and am curious what you think about this stuff.
