Guest guest
I never write to complain to anyone, but I have to say, I am appalled by the "'s Secret (Secret? What secret? ) fashion show "that was on my public, (meaning for women, children, and also men) television at 7pm tonight. I think it is terrible to have half (more like 3/4 ) naked implanted women parading around on a "TV" show? Who are you kidding. I will never watch another show on this channel, honestly. I think there tactics are disgusting. And I am shocked that the FCC would allow this show to come on public access television. Shame on you. In a nation surrounded by sex sells ads everywhere, and television shows parading women around as meat, what are we teaching to our kids as a society? Our girls? Well, you need to be half naked to get farthest in life (we really have come along way) you need to be sickly thin, (and we wonder why we have so many eating disorders in this country alone) but you also need to be voluptuous at the same time (where will these young women get body fat to have these breasts, they won't- it's called breast implants that have never been approved by the FDA) And what are we teaching our young boys and men with this smut? That these are the ultimate women, that this is what women are all about. To treat them as sexual beings? Will they ever be happy with a normal, UN-implanted, non anorexic woman? But, I think the real answer is, obviously that we don't care what we are teaching to our children, our future anymore. I am a 26 year old attractive young married woman with a 2 year old son. Years ago, I tried to be perfect, and just about killed myself in the making. I felt I was never adequate enough. So, I had saline breast implants for 7 years. The damn things literally filled my chest cavity with a septic nasty, fungal infection, that caused a healthy young woman to have numerous health issues, some of them being to name a few- Bells Palsy Attack, Hashimoto's Thyroid Disease, and now Rheumatoid Arthritis. I had to travel 15 hours for a surgery specialist to remove them, fight for insurance rights to cover the $14,000 six and half long surgery expense, treating my son for the problems he has from my toxic pregnancy that I was never warned about, and am overwhelmed by bloodwork & doctors appointments when at my age, I should be enjoying being a wife, and a mother. If you agree to continue allow this crap on television, I would like to request one thing from you, . Please follow up on this. Make sure to show these same women year after year, so we can show our kids, our husband, our daughters what these women really will end up to be. Famous? Maybe, probably not. Discarded? Sure. Sick? God only know how long they will live like this, if they will live at all. You tell me that the very advertising that sells to adults, doesn't affect our children as well? Remember this, I was once a child- a young impressionable girl, that also grew up wanting what I saw. And it has almost killed me to attain exactly what this type of show is selling.
