Guest guest
Jim, it's really important to control your stress level if you have cancer. I don't think that you should waste your anger on this issue. If you like it and it helps you, buy it. Otherwise, ignore it. It's pretty hard to argue with someone's personal testimony. That's what alternative therapies are all about because there are usually not scientific studies that are adequate to back up the claims. That doesn't make the claims untrue. We have to rely on the experiences of others and make judgements everyday about who to believe and which things will help us personally. I put way more stock in the personal testimonies of others than in scientific studies. For example, I know personally 3 middle-aged moms who did exactly what their doctors recommended to treat their cancer. They are all three DEAD. I don't really care what study says their treatments were effective. Their personal experiences SCREAM out to me that their treatment was a bad idea. Likewise, if someone I know tells me that their cancer went into remission when they used some particular product, even an MLM product, I'm going to listen to what they have to say. Most people selling MLM products are not rich. They are honest people who believe in their product. The ones I know often give it away for cost because they want you to have it so badly, but I don't think anyone should feel badly about making a profit while helping people. The problem I have with MLM is that if I recommend the product people think I'm trying to sell it for profit. I don't like the feeling that if I say what I believe people think I'm trying to sell them something. I know people who are seriously probably going to die that I think could be helped by this product, and I am afraid to tell them about it because I don't want to look like I'm trying to sell them something. I agree with whoever said that MLM products are generally very good quality or their marketing program would never work. A company that is bogus will fail pretty quickly. I have had problems with trying to find out exactly how to use a certain product effectively because those selling it are so careful not to make any claims. I think most reputable companies have advised their distributors to be very careful about making claims. From: Jim Atkins This fruit juice con makes me so bloody angry. Ive read messages on NONI juice, Xango and the list goes on....Stop making these lying, cruel companies and their salespeople rich.
