Guest guest
Hi , no I haven't tried the greek yogurt, but will now. Thanks. I'm near Valencia (Magic Mountain area), actually a bit east of there. Love Trader Joes. Can you tell me the things you buy there. I am new to this and still not sure what I can and cannot eat. Nice to meet you. Take care. Busy day ahead. Connie -- Re: Ordering Nystatin online Date: Fri, 14 Nov 2003 05:16:36 -0800 (Pacific Standard Time) Hi Everyone, I have been lurking for awhile. Guest guest
LUCKY YOU IS RIGHT! They dont have one here in Albuquerque, but the may soon. They just opened one in Santa Fe though! We used to shop there all the time when we lived in California because they have some great prices on Organic stuff. Stuff Like Organic Dairy, condiments, cereals, snacks, juices. It's definitely worth going to check out! Sylvia --- In health , " BLoe " <bloe@s...> wrote: > Suzi, Lucky you!!! > > We recently visited DD in OH. Guest guest
I like both, Whole foods has lots of Stuff that No one else does, but their prices are WAY high! Trader Joes, has lots of stuff the WF's has and Wild Oats, and the Co-op but at much reduced prices. So i comparison shop 4 different stores. We usually pick a Sat or Sunday and make " the rounds " It gets me out of the house and even though we have to drive around, i still save money. Guest guest
I agree with you - I cook 90% of our meals from scratch because it tastes better and typically is cheaper. I like to use Trader Joe's frozen veggies/rice for quickness and they are typically quite healthy. Also love their frozen fruits for protein shakes (their protein drink mixes are good too). I typically buy the marinated chicken breasts which are low in fat too. On baseball/soccer/ccd nights, they come in so handy! Kathy -------------- Original message -------------- I love Trader Joes too and get my groceries from there, but be careful - just because the ingredients are natural and organic (for the most part, anyway) doesn't mean they are low in fat or good for you. Be sure and read the labels :-) You're better off preparing your own foods because YOU control how much oil is used, etc. kvetro60@... wrote: Ray's cook books are inexpensive and her recipies are quick and easy. I believe she has a new lower fat/calorie book out now - I think I have 4 of hers so far. I really love my Lidia's Italian-American cookbook, but it is not remotely for the person looking to lose weight! Do you have Trader Joe's near you. They have a lot of frozen healthy foods that cook fast and taste really good. We buy their chicken and steak as well as the bagged Jasmine and Brown Rice (cooks in the bag in the microwave in 3 minutes and taste great).
