Guest guest
Hi, I just have to mention something here. My husband had a hiatal hernia also and the way we resolved it was for him to take one teaspoon of white table sugar and let it dissolve in his mouth. The muscles would relax immediately (works for leg cramps but never tried it on asthma). He quit having this hernia problem after about a year. The reason I thought of this is, there was a show on TV about a weight lifter who could lift many hundreds of pounds but when given a teaspoon of sugar, he could barely lift his own arm. The explanation was, sugar caused the muscles to totally relax. A muscle spasm of any kind should respond to this but this is only my lightly tested theory. Baugh **************** I really, really hope it's not a hiatal hernia (though Don's right; it sounds like that to me too), because I'll be hogtied if I can figure out how we'd afford surgery, other than having him accrue the full bill and then just declaring bankruptcy.
