Suzi mentioned Udo's brand oil which is excellent or get yourself some food grade hemp seed oil. Will do the same thing. Start taking at least a tablespoonful every day. Or use it on your salad or...... -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Hope, if your hair is thinning you may have a hormonal imbalance. Possibly a thyroid problem. How is your weight right now? Are you sensitive to cold or heat? Any other symptoms? Guest guest
--- I've been tested by an MD for thyroid and everything was normal. That was 18 mos ago just after my son was born-- a lot of hair fell out then. I used to be sensitive to cold-- I'm not great with heat or cold, but grew up near Seattle where it don't get hot nor cold!! I have no scale, but near prepregnancy weight. Still nursing my baby. I was charting my menstrual cycles and clearly ovulating and all that. I feel pretty good most of the time. We are not wealthy, but eat healthy and follow a lot of Nourishing Traditions/ price pottenger foundation. I have had trouble with constipation, but it is much better now. I do appreciate any advice! hope In health , " Janet Seidlitz " <dragonhealing@c...> wrote: > Hope, if your hair is thinning you may have a hormonal imbalance. Possibly a > thyroid problem. Guest guest
Hi Hope, Unfortunately, thyroid tests don't always work. I can't remember the scientific reason, but somehow, some of us get a negative on thyroid problems when we should have gotten a positive. Guest guest
- We do eat lots of veggies, but not as many green ones. I like broccoli a lot tho. My husband's pay checks are now 2 months late, so i am not buying any more food except for milk and a bit of fresh stuff until he gets paid. He works hard, but doesn't make much anyway. The flax oil is from the health food store and is refrigerated and i don't know what kind it is. I have done lots of cleanses. I've noticed no difference with my itchy head. I did a liver gall bladder one and a kidney one-- 5 day, like Dr. Schulze says. I didn't make it 5 days on the kidney without eating something. It was hard running around after my 25 pound baby! He couldn't walk yet then, and toting him was hard when not eating. After the liver cleanse my symptoms of hypoglycemia disappeared. And i do take DR. Schulze's intestinal formula #1 to help with constipation. I buy bulk powder from healmarketplace.com and fill my own capsules. I could do a little fasting again. I get so tired when i do that tho, especially nursing and running around after a toddler, but he can walk now. I do not have a juicer. It's on my wish list! Sorry this is long-- i just want to give a detailed answer so that you can be of help! Thanks hope -- In health , Suzanne <suziesgoats@y...> wrote: > Hope, > Are you eating alot of veggies? green ones? Have you ever thought about doing any kind of cleanse? I really hope and pray that all will work out alright for you. If there is anything we can help you with just let us know. Have you had the radiation yet? Any chemo? Yes, the steroids play havoc on the adrenals, liver and kidneys. Bad nails are one indicator that your adrenals/kidneys/liver need some help.. Calcium isn't going to help your nails a whole lot right now. When you are ready and off the steroids then we can begin to help you in getting back to decent health. You will be in my thoughts and prayers Raye. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Get yourself some kelp from your local health food store and take the tablets everyday. If it helps, then your thyroid needed the iodine ;-) Janet ----- Original Message ----- From: " hope " <hopeinjehovah@...> <health > Sent: Friday, November 05, 2004 4:20 PM Subject: Re: itchy head --help! > > > --- > I've been tested by an MD for thyroid and everything was normal.
