Sorry about my spurt of negativity. Not sure where

that came from, as it's only true if I'm feeling

bitter and that's not normal. I have to say that I

am very fortunate in that my wants and needs are few

and are inexpensive, that I am surrounded by friends

who help (living here in disability row, we joke) and

I help them.

Must have been a flashback to an earlier time,

different persona.

It's okay... we or most of us have been there at some time in our life... My step son (whom I consider my own)... sometimes gets jealous when we get something or go somewhere that he and his wife cannot afford right now.. and we remind him how it was was we were his age... He has more now than we did at that age.... it takes along time and my DH tells about when he didn't know where the next meal was coming from... would even go hunting out of season to put food on the table. God has been good to him and me before we knew each other.. So now we both pass along our blessings when we can.
