No They are 2 different things. Silvadene is a cream that contains silver that is usually only available by prescription. It is good stuff.

Colldial Silver is suspended silver particles in a solution of water. Best def. I can give for each.

Is Collidal Silver the same as Silvadene? I was given Silvadene when I burned my hand in April 2003 and am curious as to how long it is good for. Does Silvadene or Collidal Silver have an experiration date?
