Hi all,

I've written before here, and to another group. I have several

inoperatable brain tumors discovered about 2 1/2 months ago after having a

seizure. I was put on Dilantin, and then on Keppra and Dilantin. I still am

having dizzy spells, or auras, whatever they call them on these meds. Not all

the time, but off and on .

I think these meds are basically immune suppresive , and i really

want to get off of them, but i dont want to have another major seizure where i

end up in the hospital 2 or 3 days later. The doctors want to do a biospy , and

chemo, radiation, ect. Basically the only things that american medicine will do,

and the sucesss rates dont look good, so im saying no . Even some of the

" alternative " people want a biospy to know " what kind of tumor " they are.

What im doing now is basically the Budwig diet, though maybe somewhat

modified. For example, i dont drink milk, which she has in her book. One thing i

do also is have coffee in the morning, organic, but probably isnt good to do. I

am also taking vitamins from my chiropracter , which Budwig said not to do. But

being on meds, i feel i need extra nutrition also. I've read things like

vitamin C interfers with the Budwig diet? I dont really understand all this.

My big question is, how to get off the Dilantin and keppra? Will i have a big

seizure if i do, or maybe just more small auras? I read somewhere that usually

after having a large seizure, you wont have another, but i just dont know.?

I live now in Los Angeles and would like to find a holistic MD, who

doesnt want to do surgery. I may move back to Dayton, Ohio also. Anyone have any

help or answers to this, would be appreciated. Jack
