It's been a good many years, , so I don't remember all the particulars. I had it installed through my regular plumber, and it cost about $500, IIRC. My dh changes the filters monthly and I think he buys them at Home Depot.

I do love it....and my dog won't drink water anywhere but home!

That is what I have been thinking about doing but I havent researched it yet. Do you mind telling me about how much it was and was it difficult to get installed? How often do you need to change the filter ? Where did you purchase your system? Do you love it?
