Was it near any heat source? keep in a dark place? give me more details. sounds like it got a bit warm....

If you didn't get any of the mold in the liquid it should be okay - if in doubt toss it and start over... do not refrigerate until you strain it.. it needs a controlled temp.. neither hot nor cold and kept out of sunlight or any direct light.

This morning it looked normal, however when I went to strain it just now I noticed a bit of white growth- mold?- at one edge of the container.

Have I discovered a new form of pennicilin? Is it still edible? Should I toss it and try again and refrigerate it from step one?

What is the dosage and should this be taken daily?
