In order for the human body to heal " properly " one must remove the obstructions to healing. These obstructions are mucus and toxins that build up over a lifetime of improper diet and lifestyle habits. Only way to release these are through fasting and cleansing. Once the obstructions are removed then your body can get nutrients to the damaged areas which will help in rebuilding and nourishing the tissues and organs. This cannot happen very easily while the body is full of mucus and toxins. Then a diet rich in fresh raw fruits and raw green leafy vegetables will supply the necessary nutrients (organic minerals) that are needed for each and every cell in your body to use in its maintenance and rebuilding processes. Drinking lots of fresh juiced vegetables would be a really good idea as this will give you alot of needed nutrients quickly without waiting for digestion to break everything down. But you will still need to clean out the obstruction. There are some back exercises in the files which should be of great help. Cayenne poultice on the back, DMSO, massage therapy, hot/cold therapy will help as well. Carrying excess weight (over what is your body's ideal weight) causes excessive stress on the spine and everything associated with it. Keeping oneself limber is always a good idea. However, I believe that yoga or tai chi would be a much better form to follow than stretching. There is only one way I am totally certain of, if you are looking for permanent relief, and that is what I have already mentioned above. Anything else will only be a bandaid. Guest guest
I will have to see if I can convince DH to do a fast. He is scare of the implications of having to be on the pot all day. We may have to use his vacation days to get him through at least a juice fast, although he is going to need WAY more than that, as he is a smoker. We have been trying so hard to get him to quit, but every time he does, the stress builds up sometime down the road, and he starts up again. He has so very little faith in herbs and natural courses, that he doesn't believe it will help him with it. He really needs to get a handle on his life though, or I am going to be a young widow with children. At any rate, nothing is stopping me from doing this myself though, so I plan on starting a fast as soon as my DD heads off to my ex's for two weeks. I don't want to have any appointments or plans to head to town (I live a full 40 minutes from anywhere), while I am doing this. I want to be able to just do the bare minimums required of me, feeding watering my herds and flocks, and family, and then resting the rest of the time. I am having huge attacks of acne and pain in my hands from all the stress/junk food/etc. etc. etc. I love this Season, but I have to find better ways to celebrate it! Guest guest
Ok, let's not jump into everything at once here.. Your poor DH will be stressed out enough with a juice fast.... let alone trying to quit smoking at the same time... ask him to cut back on the cigarettes while doing the juice fast... or try a one or 2 day fast and see if he'll not smoke while doing it..... after he does one and finds it is not so bad... then try some lobelia or coltsfoot for the smoking problem. Not many can do it all at once.... Try a weekend juice fast... You want him to make progress, not turn around and run away screaming "Never again"...
