Guest guest
Good luck with alternate therapy. There are alternate therapies, but most doctors are " black listed " and shunned by their colleagues if they even acknowledge alternate treatments are any thing other than " quackery " Another name for it is they are not high money makers. .. However, the nutrtion is very important and glad to hear you chose that route as we did for my husband's pancreatic cancer. In the LA area (we're fr NJ) there are hospitals (large clinics) so forth that support alternate therapies. Deciding which one is the problem. But contuinually getting info will help in you decision and then don't be afraid to switch again. [ ] Cancer Doctors From: " peter werner " <werner.p@...> Hi everyone. I'm new to the list. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer in October of 1998. He has been going to a regular Oncologist since the beginning for checkups and lab work. My Father wants to avoid chemotherapy and radiation treatment and to that end he has been on a nutrition program from the start. His cancer marker count has dropped steadily from 27 to 12 in 5 months. While his oncologist is a nice guy and means well, he isn't offering any alternatives to conventional treatments. I would like to know if anyone has any referrals for a doctor in the Los Angeles/ Long Beach area that will help us deal with the cancer. I just downloaded the Dr. Johanna Budwig diet from the web site and my Father says he would like to try it. Does anybody have any feedback on it that we should know before we start. Thankyou for your time and consideration, Werner ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ONElist: where real people with real interests get connected.
