If you don't fast and cleanse the body of the mucus and toxins that have been there from birth you will continue to experience problems when you go raw. You have to clean the body out. Eating all raw is like a detox and yes it will detox your body but fairly slowly. You will have toxins floating around in your blood quite often and this will lead to all kinds of symptoms, such as you described above. Before herbal cleanses the only way to affect this change was through fasting for extended periods of time. And doing lots of them along with changing the diet. Now, unless it is somewhat of an emergency situation, your change over to all raw should happen fairly slowly using a transition diet. All of this has been researched and proven for over a hundred years and those that followed a transition diet and fasting or herbal cleasnings had, and continue to have, much less problems when they finally go all raw. Cleansing or fasting is the key here. Anyone can eat all raw and be very healthy and vibrant if they cleanse and fast while going through a transition diet and then continuing on with said protocols of cleansings and fastings. Ah but, I guess its all relative. We all have to go it our own way in our own time. You have to clean out the garbage otherwise it will just continue to stimulate the cravings and desires for the wrong foods. This is how the mechanism works. Going all raw is really wonderful and very healthy, however, most people don't realize that you have to cleanse as well. Otherwise, you will fail and, like most people including me at one point, you will blame the diet and say it is not the right type of food or diet for you. Cleansing is the key to success and using a transition diet while cleansing. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
