First, don't ever beat yourself up for falling off the wagon. It happens to us all, including me. Just take it in stride and try harder. Yes, journaling can be very beneficial in helping us realize where our weaknesses actually lie. I am really sorry to hear that Dylan is getting ill again. Yes, I have no doubt that it is the mould. Keep up the super tonic and as soon as possible get away for the mold problem. What herbs or tinctures do you have on hand that you can use for him? By the way, I wanted to mention also, the hydrogen peroxide is very good at eliminating mould. Do try and see if you can get some 30 - 35 % food grade hydrogen peroxide. Just be careful with it as it is very oxidative and will burn your skin pronto if you get any on you. Wear goggles while using it so you don't get any in you eyes too. It is good that you are making your own spelt bread. Very well done. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Hi Don >You said: What herbs or tinctures do you have on hand that you can use for him?< I don't have much at all. What herbs do you mean? I only have cooking herbs like corriander powder, mustard seeds, cumin, bay etc. The only tincture I have is horseradish which is what we ended up with when we tried to get fresh root for the ST. Use 7 teaspoons of flour, 1 teaspoon of ground mustard seed and enough warm olive oil or hot water to make a paste with. Apply to 1/2 of a clean 100% cotton cloth (cloth diapers work really well), fold in half and apply to his chest for roughly half an hour or so. Discontinue if he experiences any discomfort. This procedure may promote perspiration and redness of the chest. Make sure he drinks lots of water while doing this and takes a warm or cool shower afterwards. This will help in loosening up any phlegm. It won't cure the problem though. Only getting away from mold will do that. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. My chest is full of muck and very sore. I can taste it coming up when I cough etc. It is starting to break up a bit. I am asthmatic and use asthma medication one puff only every few days. Most of the time I just ignore the tightness til it goes away. I used to use heaps of ventolin etc when I smoked but I gave them up nearly 5 years ago now. I would assume that it will go away when I get my diet organised and raw. Blessings Tracey -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. LOL A good mullein tea with some sage will help you here. I would suggest Lobelia too but you can't get that in OZ as far as I know. -- Peace, love and light, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Sage will dry up her milk... not a good combination with breast-feeding. Lobelia and mullein are fine however.
