Does the garlic oil have mullein in it?

Is the child drinking whole milk? Any juices?

You can add some super tonic - I just posted the dosage rule in the files (thought it was there but it wasn't)... could try some astralagus...

Also try rubbing the bottom of the feet with garlic oil.

What is she currently doing besides the ear oil?

Some of the moms are having great success

with fenugreek/thyme capsules for fluid which is what predisposes one to ear

infection. They just open up the capsule, mix with something tasty and

basically guess at the dose based on the age weight of the child. Need to keep

it up the entire viral season.

Rubbing behind the ear and down along the

neck will often help drain the tubes , cranial sacral therapy and chiropractic has helped many of the

kids. ’s saving grace was breastmilk. If mom has access to fresh

breastmilk she could drop that in his ear and those macrophages will go after

the bacteria and it won’t clog the ear canal. If she feels ok with having

him drink some, go for it! Raw, fresh milk of any kind will do this. Including cow or goat.

Is he still on a bottle? Laying down and

sucking on a bottle

is a no no… cut out the dairy as well. (

unless it’s raw milk)

Be VERY cautious about putting oil in ears

that are not draining. I have heard of more than one child who got into serious

trouble doing that. Reason is, you have a ear that is

not draining and then you add oil that seals off the eardrum side as well and

now you have created a vacuum where all kinds of awful stuff can grow

and proliferate. Ears are like a siphoning

hose, you want to keep both ends open or it messes up the pressures

that allow the ear to drain. The massaging physically helps the fluid to move

out, but if the ear can’t suck in air through the ear drum side, it’s

not going to work. Is he having

frequent runny noses too? It’s paramount to keep those sinus’

draining so things don’t back up in the tubes. Saline spray, humidity

in the room where he sleeps all help. I use a Rinoflow irrigator on

which is just a high tech netti. J

LOTS more comfortable and easy to use on a child and I don’t have to

worry about her aspirating fluid running down her throat. Prop him up a bit in

bed so gravity can help drain the ears.

That’s all I can think of off the

top of my head….

Hello

Friends,

Leslea (the

one who joined/unjoined recently) has a young son, (2-3 I

think) who has now had two very, very bad ear infections

in a row.

BOTH

ears. She has put garlic oil in his ears which has helped some,

but he's in

terrible pain.

I'm trying

to help her, because i remember 's daughter and

getting

tubes put in her ears after all of her ear troubles.

Anything

internal/external to help the babe? How would the dosages be

different?

Love,

Anne

Oops.. knew I was forgetting something…. GENTLY pull down and

out slightly out on the ear lobe before during and after the massaging. It’s gets the whole siphoning action going again. Primes the pump so to speak. If it’s not to painful, swallowing while doing that helps. But sometimes

it just hurts too badly for the kids to do that.
