Thank you for the links. I will look into the bill assistance link but

SS already told me I am not eligible because I haven''t worked for so

many consecutive months in the last two years and as for housing

vouchers I had been on the hud waiting list for 8 years before THEY lost

my information and told me to start over " at the bottom of the list! " As

for subsidized apartments, I live in densely populated southern Ca, the

wait lists on such places are over 3 years long. My mother only just a

few months ago got hers after a 5 year wait and her income was only $600

social security.
