Guest guest
Be forewarned, , that it's notoriously difficult to switch cats to a raw diet. Unfortunately. And you can't wait them out (fast them) because it's hazardous to their health not to eat for a couple of days....unlike dogs, who can fast periodically with no problem at all. There is a list on groups called RawCats that can help you with that. Yes, of course, you can contact me off list! And I can give you some recommendations of raw food lists for dogs, too. Sharyn From: sarahlovell@... [mailto:sarahlovell@...] (after reading up, my significant other and I have decided to put our felines on a raw diet now!!) Guest guest
I really don't know anything about feeding raw to cats, Diane. I just did a search on groups and came up with these two lists: feline_nutrition/ naturalCATS/ There is also a Canadian list...how close are you to Canada? CanadianNaturalCats/ BTW, your habanero peppers went out in this morning's mail. You should have them Tuesday or so. Sharyn From: RDAugustine [mailto:rdaugustine@...] I have heard of a few problems showing up in cats on an all raw diet... mostly pancreatitis... do you know anything about that, or is it fairly uncommon?
