Guest guest
Hi. I was wondering if anyone had any luck with ozone sauna treatment. (I am new to this list). I have heard that because of the steam that the ozone does not really get into the body. Others claim something different. Has anyone had success with it. thanks. Ran across a pretty good write-up on a little know therapy called EWOT, or Exercise With Oxygen Therapy. I've posted info on this subject before, but defintely think it deserves to be brought up again. No hard data, facts or scientific whatevers here, but there's no doubt in this guy's mind that this simple, ingenious and inexpensive way to utilize mild rythmic exercise to signifigantly increase the body's oxygenation level is something that should be closely investigated for cancer patients. We all know oxygen is one of cancer's worst enemies. EWOT is cheap and just about anyone exept those most gravely ill can find a way to do some mild exercise - even the bedridden. Just 15 minutes a day are required. From what I have been able to find out, EWOT seems to have a remarkable way of rehabilitating not only the sick but the elderly. The only drawback I see right now is that perhaps some free radicals will be produced, but they can be countered easily enough using common antioxidants. I suspect we'll slowly but surely hear a lot more about this as time goes by. Note the source of finding doctors and other practitioners familiar with EWOT mentioned at the end of the article. Anyone on the list using it now? Interested in feedback. http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Gallery/6412/EWOT.htm - Art
Guest guest
I have Lyme, my daughter & my son have it. We also have a close friend who has it and he has used a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber and it has done miracles for him!! My parents purchased one for my brother who was diagnosed with brain cancer and only given 6-9 mths to live.....he live 4yrs and 4mths with God's help and allowing him to be able to lay in the chamber. The chamber broke or we all would be laying in it. They are very expensive but worth every dime. Good luck and God bless you -- R. Wood michellerwood@... Guest guest
I don't know anything about it, but you might try posting this question on Lymenet.com also. The Medical Questions forum in the 'Flash Discussion' section is very active. > > Hello. I am new to the group but not to Lyme Disease. That's great about your brother doing so well with the hbot. HBOT is really expensive but Promolife sells an ozone steam cabinet sauna w ozonator and you can get it for 1100 or 3200. The cheaper on comes with a soft tent that you sit in and they say it will last a couple years with moderate use. The more expensive version is a fiberglass case that will last forever. You just need a doctor to give you a note for the oxygen tank. We plan to get one so the whole family can use it. We are getting sick of the long treatment for lyme, going on two years. Both our LLMDs think it can be effective with Lyme Disease. It soaks the body in oxygen like the hbot but it also kills viruses, bacteria and fungus with the ozone I am told. Plus the steam gets you to detox, which is also helpful. I'm just wondering how many people have had success with it. I think it may be discussed in the book, Top Ten Treatments for Lyme Disease.
